Guitar Strings

Deciding on guitar strings can be a bit confusing, if you do not know what you are looking for.

The first thing is you would need to know what type guitar you have, this is because when you enter a shop full of guitar strings the strings that are usually displayed on the shop wall divided into two sections. These sections are Nylon strings and Steel strings.

Nylon Strings are associated with classical and flamenco guitars.

Steel strings are associated with acoustic and electric guitars.

All strings come in three different types, these are:

Light
Medium
Large

I would say the best guitar strings for a beginner is light strings as they are thin and requires less pressure to fret properly.  This type of string is also very beneficial when you’re first learning to play chords.
